LITHGOW City Council is calling for public submissions on its Draft Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework with a series of public briefing and open house sessions planned over the next two weeks.
Lithgow City Council mayor Neville Castle has asked the community to get involved in planning for the future of the Lithgow local government area.
The Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework is a medium to long term plan for how council will respond to community needs and manage its affairs and includes:
l Community Strategic Plan 2025;
l Long Term Financial Plan 2012-2022;
l Strategic Asset Management Plan;
l Workforce Strategy 2012-2016;
l Delivery Program 2012-2106 and Operations Plan 2012-2013 (former Management Plan); and
l Future Fees and Charges 2012-2013.
“Council would like to invite all members of the community to come along to any of the briefing sessions or open house sessions,” Cr Castle said.
“These sessions provide an excellent opportunity for members of the public to be informed of what is in the Draft Integrated Plan as well as to ask questions of councillors and staff.”
The briefing and open house sessions will be held on:
Capertee: This evening from 6pm Capertee Memorial Hall, briefing session.
Hartley: Wednesday May 2, 6pm Old Hartley Schoolhouse, briefing session.
