The one new face to join members at the table was Director of Nursing Michael Puglisi, who has just taken on the position in recent months.
Position holders this time around are Margaret Burns (president and delegate), Anne Anderson (first vice president and kiosk treasurer), Maureen Sinnett (second vice president and kiosk buyer), Judy Batcheldor (secretary and roster clerk), Jean Hills (assistant secretary and roster clerk), Margaret Bolt (auxiliary treasurer), Doreen Mina (coffee shop rep and delegate), Maureen Compton (produce buyer) and Joyce Cutting (street stall convener).
After the formalities sympathy was extended to Jean Williams and Joan Lewis and get well wishes were extended to several members on the sick list.
The meeting was also a time to say farewell to devoted member Colleen Chadwick who has retired after eight years and is heading further north to be with family.
Members have worked tirelessly over the past year and have notched up 25,000 hours and raised just over $100,000 in the 2012-2013 financial year.
Over $46,500 of that money has been donated in the form of equipment to Lithgow Hospital to make hospital life more comfortable for patients.
With the winter months still in swing and members off looking for the warmth the hospital coffee shop will continue to close at 4.30pm until the end of August.
New members are always welcome and for information on how to join the Hospital Auxiliary call Margaret on 6352 1882.
