There were plenty of red faces as the heat took its toll with players used to playing in freezing cold temperatures which have plagued the competition in recent weeks.
Results were:
Zig Zag White defeated Cruizers 6-1: The Whites are fast asserting themselves as one of the teams to beat for the title and again showed their attacking skills with a six goal haul.
The game was all but over when they scored four goals in the first half and then consolidated their win with two more in the second.
Young Maddi Haddon was a constant threat scoring three goals and setting up a number of others.
Haddon finished the game with three goals while Matilda Foley (2) and Jade Boyden were the other scorers.
For Cruizers, Kerri Sullivan and Judy Pettitt had good games while at the back back Jenny Dawson was again solid.
Kerri Sullivan scored Cruizers lone goal.
Zig Zag Black defeated Workmens Club Blue 3-1: Zig Zag Black were too strong for Workmens Club with Brooke Harpley being solid in defence.
Karen Luka and Rachael Rigby both had good games for Zig Zag.
Dee Sutton continued on with her scoring exploits with a another two while Ngaire Unsworth added the other.
Workies never stopped trying with Kristen Reid, Robyn Miller and Jemaya Staines having outstanding games.
Workies scorer was Tammy Barber.
Zig Zag Blue defeated Hot Shots 7-nil: It was one way traffic as the Blues went on a scoring rampage.
Nicole McFadden again showed what a talent she is with a hat-trick while the other scorers were Alysha Anderson (2), Kym Wilson and Dee Sutton.
Ziggies had too much class and their teamwork had Hot Shots on the back foot for most of the game.
Chris Stapleton and Nicole Goldspink put in great efforts while Bailey McDonald and Belinda Collins both had strong games and were well supported by Natalie Maulsbury.
