At full strength Firebirds are still the team to beat and with the break today in the competition due to the long weekend, it will give Firebirds a chance to regroup for their next match.
Take nothing away from That's Amazing who played some great netball.

Workies Phoenix 36 def Workies Champs 9
Workies Phoenix gained some confidence from this round after only their second win for the season. Kylie Young and Sheree Elliott played the circle well and found the net with every attempt.
Caitlan Young has settled well into the team and worked with other new team player Michelle Clutterham to feed the ball to Carolyn Piggott on the wing. Playing up for the team was Page Cousin from Workies Comets. Page was a key player in Phoenix's success.
Workies Domestic Darlings 47 def Omega Druids 23
Domestic Darling continue to dominate the division with the Combos team their main competition. For the Darling Amanda Oregan and Donnette McManus were relentless in defence and Michelle Luchetti continually fed the ball through the centre to Cassy Harvison and Tanya Thompson. Sisters Tennille Jenkins and Taren Alexander were spot on with their shooting to keep the DarlingS in the lead throughout the game. Druids were not a team to back down and kept up the defence to keep Darlings out of the circle on numerous occasions. Julia Collins played well in centre court and was aided by Jack of all Trades Melissa Howarth covering the court.
Workies Combos 34 def State Age U13s 22
State Age are combining well and held Combos to a very even first half with only three points the difference. Kiara McDonald had a strong game in Centre with her determination.
Combos stepped it up and pulled away in the second half as weather conditions deteriorated and the rain began to fall. Play continued with Zelda Doyle and Jacinda King combining well in defence to hold off the under 13s.
Division 3
Workies Angels 48 def Workies Comets 25
Although it is the Pumas who dominate the division, Angels are a team to watch out for as some players are part of the State Age U13s side who are taking on a higher division with some success. Comets are not new to the game and are strong contest for the Angels however it was time for the Angels to spread their wings and fly away with a win in this round.

Workies Butterflies 18 def Workies Sparkles 12
Sparkles were slow to start but persisted to close the gap in the second half. Butterflies are pulling together and managed to keep slightly ahead throughout the game but had to work hard for their win. Sparkles have some players that are settling in well to their second season while Butterflies continue to grow as a team.
Division 6
Wokries Diamonds 21 def Wokies Kitty Kats 1
The Diamonds remain the stronger team for the divisions fifth round with Kiara Davies and Emma James the standout players this game. The Kitty Kats continue to enjoy their Saturday morning netball and are showing what they have learnt with some wonderful passes.
Ebony Pender show some good defence moves and Charlotte Dunn did her best to keep the ball heading down the court to Kitty Kats circle.
