The day started with morning tea, a brief talk and the National Anthem, along with Ode and the Last Post.
The walk followed 12 returned men and the history of the men were read out while a small bouquet of poppy and rosemary as well as a card was placed on their grave.
Some relatives of the fallen joined the walk this year to play tribute.
John and Anne Farrimond from Orange were thrilled to be part of the day as two relatives, his father and uncle, were amongst the graves visited.
Stuart Charlton was among those who attended and took the opportunity to place a poppy on his father's grave.
Representative from the Lithgow RSL sub-branch came along as well as the general public.
As part of this year's walk the grave of Joseph King was revisited after the completion of his grave restoration.
Last year Joseph's grave was visit but it had become over grown with blackberry and the society members decided it would be a good restoration project.
Thanks to Rob Collins from Lithgow Landscape and Produce Supplies, along with a little elbow grease from members, Joseph King's grave is once more presentable.
As part of their mission to honour Joseph the society are seeking help to find relatives in New Zealand (where Joseph was born) to let them know of the work that has been done on his grave.
