A man stepped off an international flight this morning straight into the arms of police, who arrested him over the stabbing of bikie associate Mark Judge.
Police arrested the man as he got off an Emirates flight at Sydney Airport.
Mr Judge was stabbed dozens of times in the chest and torso in an attack outside his Bellevue Hill apartment block last year.
The 32-year-old was left fighting for his life for more than a week following the August 30 attack, but has since recovered.
Mr Judge has repeatedly denied he was under the influence of drugs the night soapie starlet Jodie Gordon was found to be cowering in fear of an imaginary gunman in his Birriga Road apartment block.
The 31-year-old was charged with one count of maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm.
He is expected to face Central Local Court this afternoon.
Police said their investigation had focused on the results of forensic evidence.
