The pride of Cooerwull School are hockey stars Laura Radburn, Shanae Pyne and Sarah Muller after the girls were selected in the PSSA State team to contest the PSSA championships to be held in Canberra next month.
All three are exciting young players boasting an abundance of skills and a big future is predicted for the talented trio.
Laura, Shanae and Sarah were members of the Western Region side along with Tenae Casey also from Cooerwull and Aimee Sheppeard from the Zig Zag School.
The Regionals were held at Kingswood Olympic Hockey Centre earlier this month and the Lithgow contingent showed some great form, being integral parts of the Western Region side that made it through to the final.
Unfortunately, they went down to the strong McKillop side 3-1 in a final worthy of the two teams' standard.
Following the tournament, Laura, Shanae and Sarah were named in the NSW side.
