THE weather continues to hamper the fields at the Lithgow Golf Club for the midweek nine hole events.
The good news is that Jeff Morris Financial Planning will be continuing as sponsor of the Wednesday nine hole event.
The club thanks Jeff for his support of golf in Lithgow.
Last week’s winner was Ray Thompson who finished with 25 points and counted out his nephew Dave Thompson who also carded 25 points into the runner-up position.
Those to figure in the ball competition were Mitch Luka, S Scott, Don Lovett, Jeff Geddes, Dave Hando and Harry Bender.
Nine hole events are held every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and everyone is welcome to attend.
The Titleist Demonstration Day was also washed out, but it has been rescheduled for this coming Friday starting at 1pm and going through to 5.30pm.
