To mark the occasion Bill Ranse, president of the Lithgow Workmens Club Wolves, was presented with a framed jersey for their ongoing and generous support from the commencement of the club 10 seasons ago.
Special guest of the club, Bunny Abbot, again was called upon to announce the clubs top award, the Junior Club Player, with this year’s winner being Josh Howarth who was selected from a very strong pool of contenders.
Howarth had a huge year and to take out the top award over an army of talented young rugby league players is indeed an honour.
The presentation saw a number of significant service awards, with the first of these being the presentation of Life Membership to Chris Murdoch a founding committee member of the Storm club for recognition of his dedication and long involvement in local junior game and in particular as part of the Storm club.
Josh Hanrahan from the under 16s received an award from the club recognising his 10 seasons with the Storm as the first player to have played from under 7s to 16s.
