High scoring and fast and furious games were the feature of last Monday night’s Club Lithgow summer indoor hockey competition that saw a number of players register hat tricks while Blake Davis netted five.

DIVISION C
Lachlan Bury continues to find the back of the net while the talented Hamish Francis also scored a great goal.
division B
Team Green’s two Bens, Bott and Nyitrai, continued to be a handful for the opposition with their great scoring abilities.
Ben Bott scored a hat trick and Ben Nyitrai scored one in their Team Green win over Team Yellow.
Mallory Sedger continues to control the centre court play and Mitchell Brain scored two.
Special mention is made of the improvement of one of the youngest keepers in the competition, Kloe Mannering.
Kloe, who still has many years left in the under 13 age group, played like a seasoned veteran making many great saves and she is definitely a player of the future.
Sam Gray and Andrea Gillard were the scorers for Team Yellow.
The game between Team Red and Team Purple was a real nail biter that finished at 7-all.
A highlight was when Nicholas Judge made two desperate saves to stop certain goals for Team Purple.
Nicholas also netted a hat trick, Maddy Bender scored two and Casey Robson and Maddy Bender scored one each.
Hillary Pilbeam also played a strong game.
Keely Newham and Tom McGrath were rewarded with two goals each.
Bonnie Goodsell played well and finished the game with a well-deserved goal.
Other scorers were Hayden Pettitt, Josh Bennett and Bonnie Goodsell.
Shannon Legge is forming a good defensive partnership with Nicole McFadden and goalie Bree Mahoney.
Team Black had a good win over Team Pink.
Lachlan McMahon followed on from last week’s three goal haul, with another three this week.
Not to be out done, Fiona MacDonald also scored three.
In his first game back from injury Jordan Smith scored two and Morgan Stapleton one.
Team Pink’s Jackson Bostock scored a hat trick and revelled in the new role as a striker.
DIVISION A
In a top match Team Purple finished winners 7-5 over the Team Red.
In a late burst with three wins out of the last four, Team Purple are eyeing off a semi final spot.
At the head of this charge is Ian Nightingale who is the leading scorer and scored another three in this game.
Other scorers were Beth Redding, Laura Mahoney, Richard Wheeler and Maddy McDonald.
Beth Redding was strong in defence and is also prominent in the late season charge.
Chris Williams netted three for Team Red.
In another low scoring thriller Team Black edged out Team Pink 4-1.
It was the scoring of Dylan Newsome and the keeping ability of David Reid that was the main differences of the two teams.
Dylan netted a well-deserved hat trick while Madalyn Bott who plays with great ball control also scored for Team Black.
Jess Townsend played her usual polished defensive role and was well supported by Emily Williams.
Eli Shirt was the lone scorer for Team Pink.
Madi Cooper played her usual strong game.
Team Yellow had a 9-1 win over Team Green.
Team Yellow played with precision with Blake Davis being the highest scorer for the night with personal tally of five.
Dannii Lemcke scored two and Millie Laird one.
Laura Radburn dominated the centre court and set up many goals.
David Reid in goals kept Team Green at bay with Ben Redding the only scorer.
Tenae Casey and Rachael McDonald were best for their team.
