IT’S a holiday weekend and it’s a break when people have more time on their hands than usual.

For the first time the Daylight Saving season is starting a month earlier than in the past, appropriately on the Six Hour holiday weekend.

Clocks go FORWARD by one hour at 2 am tomorrow; if you’re not a night owl simply make the adjustment before going to bed tonight and you’ll be in line with Summer Time in the morning.

The end of the season has also been extended by a month with Eastern Standard Time returning on the first weekend in April, giving Daylight Saving its first full six month run.

Daylight Saving is in force from tomorrow in NSW, Victoria, the ACT, Tasmania and South Australia and in Western Australia from the end of the month.
