Club has boat called Delta

23 Feb, 2012 03:00 AM
MICHELLE Blackley from Delta Electricity has been able to admire the new rowing boat Lithgow Rowing Club has named Delta.

This is in appreciation of the great contribution that Delta has committed to boating in Lithgow.

Without their terrific input the rowing and boating shed would never have been built.

At present there are five clubs able to store their equipment in this facility.

This year Lithgow rowing will be advertising for membership with both leisure and competitive levels available.

Coaching will also be available.

The latest improvement at Lake Wallace is a sand beach which eliminates any risk of mud being churned up when the boats are been launched.

The combined clubs are now raising money to build a pontoon equipped with a hoist to lift people with disabilities in and out of the boats.
