Hosted by the Greater Lithgow Arts Council, the evening both recognised outstanding cultural achievements in the Lithgow district and brought two remarkable artists to perform in our Union Theatre.
Master of Ceremonies, George Quinell, kept the program moving and President of the Arts Council, Mrs Rae Burton, welcomed guests and explained the purpose of the Cultural Awards.
There were three categories for the awards.
The first was for "Outstanding Performance in the Arts or Crafts".
Other categories were for "Outstanding Competitive Results in the Arts or Crafts" and "Outstanding Promotion of the Arts or Crafts".
